Rose
Rock Veterinary Hospital Services...
Preventive Health Care examinations are important for detecting medical problems early or are wonderfully reassuring if no problem exists. The care that starts with a puppy or kitten can be beneficial to the health of your companion once they are geriatric. These examinations are recommended annually if your pet is less than 7 years of age or twice a year if they are over 7.
Vaccinations
and Immunizations must be provided to protect your special
pet from various common and sometimes deadly diseases. Our goal
is to provide the best, well-tested combinations of protection depending
on the individual needs of your pet.
Dental Care
and examinations are just as important to an animal's overall health
as they are for people. Pets' teeth should be examined and cleaned
on a regular basis to protect their teeth, gums, and internal organs
such as the heart or kidneys. Our specialized services include:
- Anesthesia
- Dental
cleaning
- Polishing
- Tooth
extraction
- Oral surgery
Geriatric
Health Care is important because as we age, it becomes even
more critical to take good care of ourselves. Your pet is no different,
that's why we provide specialized services for our geriatric patients
to assist them in a healthy "senior" life. These services
include:
- Nutrition
- EKG (electrocardiograms)
- Laboratory
Testing
- Radiology
- Pain Management
- Glaucoma Screening (Tonometry)
Surgery Facilities at Rose Rock are modern, state-of-the-art and provide only the most up to date anesthetic techniques. Our patients are monitored continually during any procedure. Specialized monitoring (which includes intra-operative EKG, blood pressure and pulse oximetry) is performed on all non-elective and elective procedures. Laser surgery is available which will decrease pain and swelling with the surgical procedure. It is highly recommended on declaws and removal of growths or tumors. Each patient is closely supervised during recovery. Pain management is recommended for all surgical procedures. We offer:
- Routine
Surgery (Spay, Neuter, Declaw)
- Orthopedic
Surgery
- Soft Tissue
Surgery
- Specialized
Anesthesia for Geriatric and Pediatric Patients
- Pain Management
- Laser Surgery
Medical Diagnostics are accomplished by using a combination of laboratory data, radiographs, and ultrasound findings. We have modern radiographic equipment (X-Ray) that can be used for the diagnosis of many diseases. Video otoscopy allows diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the ear. In house ultrasound equipment is used for echocardiography and abdominal ultrasonagraphy. Board certified specialists are consulted by telemedicine or local specialists are used for referrals as needed. Our services include:
- In-House
Laboratory
- Radiology
- Ultrasonagraphy
- In-House
Pharmacy
- Video Otoscopy
